SECURITY MANAGER – FULL TIME
Gas South District is looking for a full-time Security Manager to oversee and supervise all security efforts related to the facility and surrounding grounds. This includes daily security operations and event security coordination. The Security Manager will also develop, implement, and manage security and emergency action plans, ensuring a safe, secure, and efficient environment for all guests, employees, and stakeholders. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and five years related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Event Security and Crowd Management and/or public safety background preferred. Must be able to work extended/irregular hours including nights, weekends & holidays.

AUDIO-VISUAL TECHNICIAN - PART TIME
Gas South District is looking for part-time Technicians to perform technical duties, including audio-visual, electrical, sound, and lighting set-ups. Job requires lifting, carrying, moving, climbing, working from various heights, and moderate to loud noises. May assist with the installation, maintenance/repairs, and operations of various technical equipment and systems. Must be able to work extended/irregular hours including nights, weekends & holidays.

SECURITY OFFICER - PART TIME
Gas South District is looking for part-time Security Officers. Under the general supervision of the Security Manager, patrol assigned territory to protect patrons and property. Position requires previous security experience, dependable transportation, and a valid driver’s license. Must pass a background check; work extended/irregular hours including nights, weekends & holidays; have excellent customer service skills; and be able to use Windows-based computer programs. Must also meet the physical demands of this position, which include getting in and around the facility (requires personal mobility), lifting, carrying, moving, climbing, and exposure to moderate to loud noises.

CONVENTION CENTER OPERATIONS CREW – PART TIME
Gas South District is looking for part-time Convention Center setup staff. Duties include setting up and tearing down stages, risers, tables, and portable chairs, as well as other furnishings and equipment related to event requirements. Job requires heavy lifting and a high degree of physical exertion. Must be able to work extended/irregular hours including nights, weekends & holidays.

MANAGER ON DUTY – PART TIME
Gas South District is looking for part-time Managers on Duty (MODs). This position would rotate with other facility personnel to function as MOD who maintains responsibility and authority over all clients, employees, security, and safety within the Convention Center. Responsibilities include ensuring contractual agreements and event requirements are met. On-duty employees and subcontractors ultimately report to the MOD through any managers or supervisors who are present during the event. MOD acts as a “shift leader” and ensures the highest possible standards of customer service and facility presentation. This is a part-time position that works outside of regular business hours.
