At Gas South District, being a good neighbor is at the heart of who we are. It guides how we show up, how we serve, and how we care for the community around us.

The Good Neighbor Project is our community engagement program — created to turn that belief into action. As a gathering place for our region, we know our role extends beyond hosting events. We have the opportunity — and the responsibility — to use our platform, our space, and our people to strengthen the community we all call home.

OUR MISSION

At Gas South District, being a good neighbor means showing up for our heroes, our neighbors, and our future leaders.

The Good Neighbor Project strengthens community connection, amplifies local voices, and creates shared opportunities for growth and belonging.

Being a good neighbor is more than what we do — it’s who we are.

It means keeping the porch light on, opening doors, and lending a hand when it matters most.

Through intentional partnerships, hands-on volunteerism, and thoughtful storytelling, we shine a light on the good across our region. Staff, partners, and neighbors come together to serve, celebrate, and grow side by side.
